Stettler Crisis Aid Program

THE PROGRAM
The Crisis Aid Program is a non profit organization founded in 2013 and was originally known as the Stettler Emergency Relief Fund. This program is funded 100% by donations raised within the community and receives no government funding at all.
With the current pandemic and economic downturn, there are many individuals and families that have been affected. Individuals have either been cut back on hours or laid off completely.

A crisis is a broad variety of situations in which an individual or family cannot meet a basic necessity, cannot maintain a reserved living condition, or meet essential medical needs.
​
We are a last resort financial assistance program. We may be able to assist with one-time funding for temporary or permanent accommodations, medical trips, prescriptions, utility arrears, employment related expenses, etc.
​
We offer basic budgeting to help with sustainability as well as direction towards other necessary resources.
